KRC field service engineers travel the globe to install, repair and move all types of machinery. Our extensive experience with many different brands of equipment ensures that we can handle a complex problems with ease.
Our KRC fleet of service trucks is just physical evidence of our focus on post-machine sale service and maintenance. We always maintain a commitment to service and maintenance in the field by providing our technicians with the means to travel in the field and have all the technology they need to trouble shoot and problem solve once they’re on site. Furthermore, the powerful communications tools we have in our vehicles allow us to stay current with our technicians. Utilizing these devices allows us to change the order of the service agenda, update a time of service, or simply change an address.
KRC has partnered with Enterprise Fleet Management to obtain new state-of-the art Dodge Dakotas for all service engineers. The new trucks are equipped with heavy-duty caps, GPS navigation systems and mobile workstations. The heavy-duty caps allow the service engineers to transport stock items and the tools needed to get the job done.
The GPS navigation systems permit our service operations manager to dispatch instructions (such as changing a customer addresses) directly to the service trucks, so that our engineers can proceed to customer’s location in a timely manner.
The mobile workstation in each service truck includes a laptop and printer. This allows service engineers to be able to give customers a summary of the work performed on site.
This just adds further to KRC’s reputation as being a world leader in machine tool rebuilding, retrofitting and remanufacturing. With nearly 60 employees and a fleet of fully equipped mobile units, the company is fast becoming one of the major contenders in the machine tool service response industry.
