Field Service

KRC field service engineers travel the globe to install, repair and move all types of machinery. Our extensive experience with many different brands of machinery ensures that we can handle complex problems with ease.

Our KRC fleet of service trucks is just physical evidence of our focus on post-machine sale service and maintenances. We can hardly maintain a commitment to service and maintenance in the field without providing our technicians with the means to actually travel in the field and have all the technology they need to trouble shoot and problem solve once they’re on site.  Also, the powerful communications we have on the vehicles allow us to stay current hour-by-hour with our technicians and change, for example, the order of the service agenda, an updated time of service or a change of address.”

KRC has partnered with Enterprise Fleet Management to obtain new state-of-the art Dodge Dakotas for all service engineers.  The new trucks are equipped with heavy-duty caps, GPS navigation systems and mobile workstations.  The heavy-duty caps allow the service engineers to transport stock items and the tools needed to get the job done.

The GPS navigation systems permit our service operations manager to dispatch instructions — changed customer addresses, for example — directly to the service trucks, so that our engineers can proceed to customer's locations in a timely manner.

The mobile workstation in each service truck includes a laptop and printer, so that service engineers are able to give customers a summary of the work performed right on the spot.

This just adds further to KRC’s reputation as being a world leader in machine tool rebuilding, retrofitting and remanufacturing.  With nearly 60 employees and a fleet of fully equipped mobile units, the company is fast becoming one of the major contenders in machine tool service response.
